Field Education Near Your Community
Field education is a critical part of the social work curriculum for both on-campus and online MSW students. Designed to give you the richest field experience possible, our online MSW program enables you to begin your field education shortly after you start classes.
As an online student, you will
- work with a placement specialist who will identify partner sites near your area where you can apply theory to practice to help clients in need;
- complete one or two placements, depending on your plan of study;
- receive guidance and training from a professional social worker, who will act as your supervisor and mentor during your placements.
Program Options
The online MSW program offers multiple plans of study to ensure your experience best fits your academic background and personal schedule.
